Make-A-Wish Foundation
We are part of a global organisation which began in 1980 after a team of people granted the wish of a little boy called Chris in Arizona, whose dream was to be a policeman.
Chris had leukaemia, and people around him realised he may not have the chance to realise his dream. With the help of the local police, Chris wish was granted. He had an amazing day- riding in a police helicopter, sworn in as an honorary patrolman, given a specially-made uniform and a chance to show off his motorcycling skills.
The people involved in his wish were so moved by the experience, they pledged to continue to” Share the Power of a Wish”.
Since the granting of Chris’ wish, the Make–A-Wish Foundation® has been responsible for making the wishes of over 187,000 children come true.

WWF has been working to conserve Asia Pacific’s astonishing wealth of biodiversity for over four decades and has considerable experience in engaging with partners for conservation solutions that benefit people, economies and the environment.
Adelene believes that you must give back to the society whenever you can. Everyone needs to put in a little effort to make this world a better place. She has been donating to these charitable organisations and she hopes you can do it too.

SASCO Singapore
The co-operative movement in Singapore was constantly facing new challenges to meet the rising demand of its members from the changing socio economic environment.
The ageing population in Singapore was a concern that attracted the attention of the co-operative movement. SASCO Ltd, comprising of 17 affiliates, thus set about the task to provide a shelter for the elderly destitute.
SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home was setup in a void deck of an HDB estate for 5 senior citizens initially. The home at Block 30, #01-316 Telok Blangah Rise was officially declared open on the 18 July 1981 by the then Acting Minister for Social Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Matter.
