Same person.
TWO different lifestyles.
One breakthrough. - Part 2
In the last issue - Ticket to entrepreneurSHIP Part 1, we have talked about how Daniel had taken a leap of faith to change his career path from a sales engineer to an entrepreneur. This incident has changed his lifestyle tremendously.
Being a mobile app developer has allow Daniel to earn some good money. He starts to explore more business opportunities that allows him to expand his business even further.
As a coffee lover and a barista-trained person, Daniel has planned to open a cafe long ago. However, opening a cafe is easy but running it long term is a challenge. There are issue like staff shortage, high rental and lack of managing experience. Eventually, after discussing with a few friends, they have decided to start small - a mobile coffee station.
This mobile coffee station is designed to suit events like meeting, convention, exhibition, birthday parties, weddings etc. The entire business is movable to where their client is. This has lighten their initial worry of rental issue. Also, as the set up is small, he only need 1 or 2 person to manage it on a project basis.
Daniel's business idea has received lots of good feedback. He and his team has done a number of events. He realized that his business idea needs to be shared to all cafe- owner wannabe. That is why he has came up with the LETS Program.

GR: Get Real, D: Daniel
GR: So why switch again from mobile app business to coffee business?
D: Haha. I did not switch totally. I am still doing my mobile app business while running the mobile coffee business concurrently.
GR: What are the challenges you have faced for the coffee business?
D: I guess most F&B establishments are facing staff shortage and suffered from the increase in rental cost. That's why I have created the LETS Program to solve these issue.
GR: What do you want to achieve by introducing the LETS Program?
D: I want to help those coffee lovers who wants to set up a cafe but have limited resources to realize their dream. The program is designed in such a way that anyone who goes through the program will be able to start a mobile coffee business immediately.
