From Martial Art to Latte Art

His story....

Mr Robin Yeo has took up martial art during his school days for almost 5 years. He had participated a lot of competitions and won a few. After graduation, he has decided to become a martial art instructor. Teaching students was the most enjoyable job for him. However, the reality came in when the income become too little. He had to take up a part-time job as a deliveryman.

One day, Robin was invited to a friend’s place and was offered a cup of coffee. He rejected at first as he doesn’t like the bitterness of the coffee. But then, his friend persuaded him to try and said that his coffee is not bitter. True enough, without adding any condiments, the coffee did not taste bitter at all. That day, they had a long chat about the originality of coffee.

Since then, Robin become very curious about coffee. He did lots of research and became very familiar with different types of coffee bean and the ways of making coffee. His curiosity became his passion and he planned to open his own café. He started to look for a suitable shop and searching out for some trained baristas.

After some calculations, he found out that the rental cost and staff salaries will kill the business even before the business can have some revenue. At that point of time, he did not have much savings to invest in that business. He was very upset that his dream is about to burst.

Through sheer luck, Robin chanced upon one of the Get Real business previews towards the end of last year and get to know the LETS program by SETACAFE.COM. He was very thrilled to know how this program actually allows him to realise his dream. He had attended all the trainings and had successfully opened his mobile coffee station – Coffee Anywhere.

Good things kept coming in as some investors were interested to partner with him to open up a café. That was a terrific news. And now, their café – Coffee Nowhere is opening soon in July.
